The Organization
Nlaka’pamux Health Services Society (NHSS) is a community driven, not forprofit organization that delivers holistic, culturally grounded health services to 12 (twelve) Nlaka’pamux Nation Communities. As NHSS continues to grow, we are seeking strong financial leadership to help ensure we sustain and expand our services. NHSS services include Primary Care, Mental Health, Wellness Outreach, Emergency Management, and Home Care Nursing.
The Opportunity
The Youth Coordinator will lead and support youth wellness programming that promotes physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being, healing, and cultural integrity. This role includes:
- Outreach and engagement with youth across the Nation
- Organizing and facilitating wellness activities, cultural events, and life skills programming
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure culturally safe and trauma-informed services
- Supporting youth with health navigation and referrals
- Participating in planning and evaluation of youth programs
Compensation
$32 – $42 per Hour (based on experience)
